- if we want to be fancy maybe we can set them up a menu from right here to click on and it will being up a page like (choose the birds you like (check boxes) next step> decide eggs or chicks (products page) next step> Do you want any products? next step> shipping or local pick up finish and pay> yay all done!

In what ways are we flexible?

-do we take chick requests? maybe a box form for them to fill out and it emails is so we can consider hatching them in the future? does this connect to pre-order if we approve? or does this subscribe them to email updates ("dont miss a peep" form)

-will we make them place two orders if ordering from different locations, or will we handle the shipping needs (this one might be trial and error and we update the info page as we go)

 

Damage/refund policy/guarantees 

shipping eggs quality policy and refund policy for hatch rates/damage/egg handling?

-come up with a straight forward policy which covers the following variables to explain why

-info about what happens to eggs in transit disclaimer (facts and statistics)

-what we can guarantee 

-brief info for how they can handle eggs for best hatch rate after shipping (*fact check: i think you're suppose to let eggs sit for 12 hours after shipping before incubation?) *research other relevant incubation after shipping info

*add the basic handling instructions to all of the product pages including eggs

-eventually adding a link to how to incubate

shipping and handling

-time range for gathering and completing an order

-how long can they expect to wait after ordering for their chicks eggs to be sent out?

>this might vary by breeding pen for eggs, and we will explain again how the chick ordering works

*add this product specific info in to the product information on the shop page

Fertile eggs

-available for local pickup or shipping in one of two locations, Simi Valley or Tehachapi

-choose option in the shipping tab. we will specify on each product which location(s) eggs are available at

-fee for delivery (per miles)

Live chicks

-Local pickup only. We are flexible to meetups/delivery for a fee depending on location (disscuss price based off drive) or free pickup. 

-place order and choose local under shipping and handling 

-when local pickup is selected do we get an automated email sent out to put us in contact? do we have a pop up to fill out a contact form? Do we reach out to them first? How long do we take to get back to them about arranging pickup/drop off? 

-how do we add the extra fee after discussing dropoff, do we zelle? venmo? have in website?
